Hinewai Reserve

Bellbird at Hinewai Reserve, Banks Peninsula

We drove down to Akaroa, on the Banks Peninsula near Christchurch, the other weekend. It’s a neat little village nestled into a huge volcanic crater, which also happens to be one of the top marine wildlife destinations in New Zealand. I’ll talk more about Akaroa later. In the meantime, here are some photos from Hinewai Reserve – we did a quick afternoon visit here, and will definitely be back!
